YUVIKA 2022: ANNOUNCEMENT OF ONLINE REGISTRATION
ISRO is organizing a special programme, YUVIKA-2022, for children who are interested in space science and space technology. The main aim of this programme is to impart knowledge of space science to children. For that, YUVIKA-2022 offers a golden chance by offering classes of eminent scientists, speeches and talks, space research center visits, discussions, exhibitions, and debates. This programme will be a great support to those who want to mold their future in the science field.
As per the information, this opportunity is for 150 children who are in class IX. The program will conduct from 16th to 18th May. The centers for the program are VSSC Trivandrum, U R Rao Satellite Centre Bengaluru, Space Application Centre Ahemmadabad, National Remote Sensing Centre Hyderabad, and North East Space Application Centre Shillong. The last date for receiving an online application is April 10, 2022, at 10.30 am.
Criteria for the selection:
1. Marks obtained in class VIII
2. Participation in science fest (school / district / state & above level organised by school / district / state / Central government authority) in last three years
3. Prize in Olympiad/ science competitions and equivalent (1 to 3 rank in last 3 years at school/district/state & above level) in last three years
4. Winner of sports items conducted by School / Institutions / Registered Sports federation (1 to 3 rank in last 3 years at school/district/state & above level) in last three years
5. Member of Scout and Guides/NCC/NSS
6. Performance in online quiz
