JEE Main 2024 Day 1 Difficulty-Level Analysis

In this article, we will provide you the JEE Main 2024 Difficulty-Level Analysis. The NTA conducted the JEE Main 2024 session 1 examination on January 27th in two shifts. The first shift and the second shift were conducted from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., respectively. The duration of the examination was 3 hours.

JEE Main 2024: Shift 1

According to the student’s responses, the overall difficulty level of the examination is rated as easy. Considering each subject specifically, mathematics was more difficult than physics and chemistry.

Mathematics: The questions in mathematics were moderate for the majority of the students. More questions came from the chapters Calculus, Algebra, Complex Numbers, 2-D Matrix, and Determinants.

Chemistry: The chemistry part was easy since most of the questions came from the inorganic part. The majority of the questions came from the chapters Coordination Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, Quantum Number, and F Block.

Physics: The majority of the questions were concept-based and easy for the students. More questions came from the chapters Moment of Inertia, Electrostatics, Gravitation, Capacitance, Kinematics, Friction, Rotation, Current Electricity, Ray Optics, and Semi-Conductors.

JEE Main 2024: Shift 2

The shift 2 examination was moderate to easy for the students.

Mathematics: The questions were lengthy and time-consuming. Therefore, the subject questions were difficult. More questions came from the Calculus, Complex Numbers, Functions, Matrics, and Conic Section.

Chemistry: The majority of the questions were from organic and physical chemistry. As per the student’s responses, the chemistry questions were easy.

Physics:Physics questions were also easier than mathematics. The chapters Wave Optics and Motion in a Straight Line had more weight.
