Click on “View/Challenge OMR Sheet & Recorded Responses” to see a high-resolution scan of your sheet alongside the machine-read data.
Step 3: Select Discrepancies
Compare the recorded choices. If there is a mismatch, select the question number and tick your claimed option on the portal.
Step 4: Pay & Submit
Pay ₹200 per challenge via UPI/Card/Net Banking. Submit your challenge and print the Acknowledgement Page for future reference.
NTA Rules for Valid OMR Marking
Before raising a challenge, ensure your markings adhere to NTA’s strict optical scanner guidelines. The OMR scanner captures data strictly based on physical markings.
- Valid Marks: Only circles completely darkened using a Blue or Black Ball Point Pen are considered valid.
- Multiple Circles: Darkening more than one circle for a single question renders the response invalid and will attract negative marking.
- Overwriting: Responses cannot be changed once marked. Overwriting or tampering may fail scanner reading.
- Stray Marks: Smudges, partial markings, or unintended dots can be misinterpreted by the OMR scanner.
Do not upload or base your challenge on a tampered/edited scanned image of the OMR sheet. NTA strictly treats this as a case of Unfair Means (UFM), which can result in debarment from future exams and legal proceedings.
