The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has officially announced the exam date for the Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2026.
📢 Key Announcement
JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted on May 17, 2026 in computer-based mode across various cities in India. The examination will be held for a total duration of 6 hours, divided into two compulsory papers.
📋 Exam Schedule
📄 Paper 1
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Duration: 3 hours
📄 Paper 2
2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Duration: 3 hours
Note: Candidates must appear for both papers to qualify.
🎯 JEE Advanced 2026: Who is Eligible?
Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates from the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main) 2026 will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2026.

January 21 to 30, 2026
Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)

April 1 to 10, 2026
With the two-session structure, candidates will have multiple attempts to improve scores.
💻 Exam Mode and Languages
JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode in designated centres across India. The question paper will be offered in both English and Hindi, ensuring accessibility for a wider student base.
