In a recent public notice (November 2, 2025), the NTA has clarified that NO CALCULATORS โ€“ whether physical or virtual โ€“ will be permitted during JEE Main 2026.

What happened? The initial Information Bulletin mentioned an on-screen calculator would be available. However, this was a template error from the generic computer-based test platform. The NTA has confirmed this feature does not apply to JEE Main.
