The last rank detail contains the cutoff rank needed to get admission to a college. The Medical Counseling Committee (CEE) conducts the NEET MBBS, BDS, and Medical Allied course allotments. The National Eligibility and Entrance Exam (NEET) is an offline entrance exam conducted nationally to give admission for MBBS aspirants to various government, self-financing, and private medical colleges in India. The MCC conducts the All India NEET counseling, allotment, and admission process. Soon after the NEET results are published, the students have to register on the official website of MCC to participate in the allotment process. The NEET 2023 examination was conducted on May 7th and the results were published on 13th June. The publication of results was followed by four rounds of allotments: the first round, second round, third round and mop-up round allotments. The NEET 2023 1st round allotment result was published on July 29th.

In the first round of allotment, 349 Government Medical College and 42 Government Dental Colleges participated in the All India allotment. For the MBBS course, the last rank was 19396 for the open category. Students with an AIR still 21591 got admission to the government medical college in the general category. For the students in the OBC category, the last rank was 19977, 100013 for the SC category and 141071 for the ST category. Now considering the BDS course, the last rank was 33546 for the open and 41532 was the last rank for the general category. The last rank for the students under the OBC, SC and ST categories were 36349, 139799 and 183122 respectively.

Twenty AIIMS institutes participated in the NEET 2023 All India allotment for which the last rank was 4377 for the open category and 6549 for the general category. For the OBC category, the last rank was 5254, for the SC category, the last rank was 40087 and for the ST category, the last rank was 67906. Among the two JIPMER institutes in India, the last rank of JIPMER Puducherry was 277 for the open category, 1350 for the general category, 591 for the OBC category, 3630 for the SC category and 11584 for the ST category.
