Considering the seat matrix of KEAM Medical 2016, there were a total of 2700 MBBS seats. To be precise, 1150 MBBS seats were available in government medical colleges and 1550 MBBS seats in private medical colleges. Among the government medical colleges in Kerala, Government Medical College Kozhikode had the highest number of MBBS seats. There were 250 MBBS seats followed by Government Medical College Thiruvananthapuram with 200 MBBS seats. Except for Government Dental College, Kottayam, Government Dental College, Alappuzha, Government Dental College, Kozhikode, Government Dental College, Thrissur and Government Dental College, Thiruvananthapuram had 50 BDS seats. There were 60 seats in Government Dental College, Pariyaram, Kannur.
