NATA Architecture Aptitude Test Begins March 1
Aspiring architects can now apply for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2025, as the Council of Architecture (CoA) has officially opened the registration process. This entrance exam is essential for students seeking admission to Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) programs in various institutions across India.
Exam Dates & Schedule.
The NATA 2025 exams will be conducted from March 1 to June, with multiple sessions held every Friday and Saturday. The schedule is as follows:
• Fridays: One session (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM)
• Saturdays: Two sessions
– Morning (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
– Afternoon (1:30 PM – 4:30 PM)
Application Process
Students can apply online through the official website nata.in. While the registration deadline is yet to be announced, it is advisable to complete the application process as early as possible to avoid last-minute issues.
Exam Pattern & Structure
The NATA 2025 exam will assess a candidate’s aptitude in architecture through two main sections:
• Part A: Drawing and Composition (Offline mode)
• Part B: Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and No-Choice Questions (NCQs) in an online adaptive format
Application Fees
The registration fees vary based on the candidate’s category:
• General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): ₹1,750
• SC/ST/EWS/PwD Candidates: ₹1,250
• Transgender Candidates: ₹1,000
• Foreign Applicants: ₹15,000
Candidates who appeared for NATA 2024 with valid scores can reapply for NATA 2025. However, their previous scores from 2024 will not be valid for 2025 admissions.

How Many attempts a year?
A student can take the NATA exam up to three times in a year, with the highest score among all attempts being considered as the final score. If you have appeared for NATA in 2024, both your 2024 score and your best score from up to two attempts in 2025 will be taken into account, with the highest score being selected as the final score.
Validity of NATA score.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score is valid for two academic years from the date of the exam. This means that candidates can use their score to apply to colleges in the year of the exam and the following year.
