As we are preparing for the NEET 2024 examination, through this blog, we will provide you with tips and guidance to score full marks in Biology. For the NEET examination conducted by NTA, there are a total of 90 questions from biology, of which 45 are from Botany and zoology, respectively. Each correct answer carries 4 marks, and for each incorrect answer, one mark is deducted.

• Choose a learning method
Choose a study strategy or learning technique that is convenient for our everyday schedule. They are students that enjoy staying up late studying for tests. There are also those students that get up early to study. Recognize your convenience and select that approach. If you are a NEET aspirant, make sure you spend a maximum of 13 to 15 hours a day on exam preparation.

• Write down the Keywords
Make sure to write down the keywords as you learn. These keywords are helpful in helping you memorize the major ideas later on while you’re reading the section.

• Possibility of Questions
The majority of the questions for the NEET examination are based on the NCERT textbook. Therefore, it is important to go through the entire textbook. While learning a chapter or a portion, try to figure out the maximum possibility of questions that can be asked from that specific portion. After preparing the question, find answers to all these questions. This will help you have a thorough understanding of the chapters.

• Practice Questions
“Practice makes a man perfect”. Practicing questions can make you familiar with the question pattern and it can also boost your confidence. Every day spend some time practicing questions. This will help you with time management.

• Keep Revising
Revision helps you remember things. It also helps you gain a deeper understanding of the concept. Do daily, weekly and monthly revisions.

• Prepare a Time Table
Set a timetable to prioritize your difficult portion and dedicate more time to the weaker part. Put in extra effort to master the challenging part. Set aside at least 6 hours for sleep.

• Understand the Concept
Always understand the concept clearly. Don’t just mug up the concept, instead understand and get clarity of the concept. Understanding the concepts can help you answer even unfamiliar questions while appearing for the final examination.
